  •      After you submit your information, you will receive a Welcome email from Intellatext with instructions on how to activate your account.

After you’ve gone ahead and activated your account, you will begin receiving your voicemails as e-mails along with the original audio of the voicemail as an attachment. You can specify multiple endpoints for your messages (including SMS text message endpoints which are not enabled by default), as well as manage your entire voicemail inbox by logging into your account via www.Intellatext.com/login

Help! I signed up and followed the directions on my phone but it doesn’t work!

No problem. First, make sure that the code you are dialing is for the correct cell phone carrier. If you are trying to set Intellatext up on a landline, the code provided in the welcome email will not work and you will need to forward your unanswered calls to your 10 digit Intellatext account number. If are on the Rogers network, you will need to disable your Rogers voicemail before you are able to activate no answer call forwarding on your phone. For further assistance please contact technical support at support@Intellatext.com and we will be happy to walk you through the setup and activation process

How do I re-enable Intellatext if my voicemails have stopped going through the Intellatext system?

Here is a breakdown of how to setup Call Forward No Answer.

  • Verizon - dial *71<your assigned Intellatext Voicemail Number> then send/talk

        - Example format looks like: dial *711234567890 then send/talk

  • AT&T/Cingular/T-Mobile/Other - *004*1<your assigned Intellatext Voicemail Number>*11# then send/talk - Example format looks like

               - Example format looks like: dial *004*11234567890*11# then send/talk

  • Sprint - Contact Sprint support and ask them to enable Call Forward No Answer to your assigned Intellatext Voicemail Number.
  • What do I do if I haven’t been receiving any voicemails to my email and no messages are showing up on my account online?

When no messages are going through our system, it usually indicates that your unanswered calls are no longer being forwarded to your Intellatext voicemail system. This usually happens if your network resets the call forwarding settings on your phone which often happens when traveling. Follow the same steps to activate Intellatext on your phone that you used when you first signed up and activated for the first time.  If you no longer have these activation instructions you can resend them to yourself by logging into your account with your email address and pin number, clicking the self-service tab, and then click "send me instructions for my phone".

I cannot access my voicemail by calling 619-326-2300, and it keeps hanging up on me when I enter my phone number, what’s wrong?

When prompted, you need to enter the 10 digit phone number you have registered with Intellatext, not your Intellatext account number. This is the number you specified with us when you first signed up.  If the system is not recognizing the number make sure you are pressing down the keys long enough for our system to recognize the key touch. Even if you are using a different number now with the service, you must enter this number to be able to access your voicemail. You can login to your account to view or change this phone number associated with your account.

If you are having continued trouble with this method, try dialing your 10 digit account number directly followed by the * key and your pin number; this should also put you through to the voicemail system.  If you don't know what your 10 digit account number is you can find your Intellatext Voicemail Number/DID by logging into the My Intellatext site, selecting the Account Settings tab and looking for the Account Number section. Your account number is also your Intellatext Voicemail Number/DID.  The My Intellatext site can be accessed via www.intellatext.com/login

Does Intellatext work with the iPhone?

Yes it does. However you will not be able to use the iPhone's built-in visual voicemail since your voicemail will no longer go through AT&T's voicemail system. Instead you can read and listen to your voicemail through your email via Intellatext.

I’d like to setup an account for my office or family; does each user need their own account?

It depends. You can forward as many different phone lines to your Intellatext account as you would like. Each line will terminate in the same voice mailbox so if you need to have a separate voice greeting for each user, you will need separate accounts. Also all of the lines will end up going to the same email address or cell phones so if you want each user to only get their specific messages, you will need a separate account for each user.

How do I set up Intellatext with my home or office phone?

You can use the “no answer call forwarding” to forward your home or office phone to us. No answer call forwarding is the process where your phone rings and then the unanswered calls get routed to your Intellatext voice mailbox. If you have an office phone system with a control panel, you may be able to control the forwarding settings on the phone system itself. If not, you will have to call your carrier and ask for this service. Be sure to have your 10 digit Intellatext number available to your carrier knows which number to forward to.
